Created in partnership with CASA programs, this booklet uses simple language, warm illustrations, and interactive activities to make the child welfare system feel a little less confusing and a lot more comforting.
Children can learn about the court process, the roles of different adults they may meet, and what their CASA volunteer does to advocate for their best interests. Reflection prompts, coloring pages, and activities help kids share their feelings, express what they want adults to know about them, and build trust with their volunteer.
